Intuition is the key to everything, in painting, filmmaking, business - everything. I think you could have an intellectual ability, but if you can sharpen your intuition, which they say is emotion and intellect joining together, then a knowingness occurs.
You and your team
Every great film has a great team. Upon submission, tell us about them.
Filmmaking is the ultimate team sport.
Filmmaking is a miracle of collaboration.
Artistic Focus
Focus on embracing artistic expression, showcase your talents, and celebrate the creativity that defines us. Let your work inspire others, shining a spotlight on diverse artistic voices. Together, let's ignite a passion for storytelling and cultivate a community fueled by the power of art.
Filmmaking is not a job but a social responsibility for me.
With every film that I am doing I am learning new things either about myself, or about filmmaking.
Embrace Uniqueness
Students, unleash your inner artist! Show us your unique style of film through painting to photography, dance to design. This festival is your canvas—let your creativity run wild. We welcome all forms of expression through film, so don't hold back. Surprise us, inspire us, and make your mark with your unique films.
To make a good film is an art. Gender is irrelevant when it comes to craft of filmmaking.
Creativity
Immersing oneself in a festival environment surrounded by passionate filmmakers and compelling films can be a source of inspiration and creativity. Experiencing a wide range of storytelling styles and artistic expressions can spark new ideas and perspectives for future projects.
"I just love the process of filmmaking."
Pick up a camera. Shoot something. No matter how small, no matter how cheesy, no matter whether your friends and your sister star in it. Put your name on it as director. Now you're a director. Everything after that you're just negotiating your budget and your fee.
James Francis Cameron CC is a Canadian filmmaker. He is a major figure in the post-New Hollywood era. He often uses novel technologies with a classical filmmaking style.
The most amazing thing for me is that every single person who sees a movie, not necessarily one of my movies, brings a whole set of unique experiences. Now, through careful manipulation and good storytelling, you can get everybody to clap at the same time, to hopefully laugh at the same time, and to be afraid at the same time.
Steven Allan Spielberg, KBE is an American filmmaker. A major figure of the New Hollywood era and pioneer of the modern blockbuster, he is the most commercially successful director in history.
If there's specific resistance to women making movies, I just choose to ignore that as an obstacle for two reasons: I can't change my gender, and I refuse to stop making movies
Kathryn Ann Bigelow is an American filmmaker. Bigelow has received numerous accolades including two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2010.
I think it is very important that films make people look at what they've forgotten.
Shelton Jackson "Spike" Lee is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and author. His work has continually explored race relations, issues within the black community, the role of media in contemporary life, urban crime and poverty, and other political issues
What's in it for you?

It provides opportunities for education, community building, and international recognition through screenings, awards, and press coverage. Ultimately, it's a hub of creativity, inspiration, and collaboration for filmmakers to showcase their talent and connect with audiences worldwide.
